PeaqOS integrates World ID, introducing zero-knowledge proof verification for autonomous robots
2026-08-24 15:45:08
According to CoinMeta, on August 21, 2026, PeaqOS integrated with World ID. Robots and machines operating on PeaqOS can request and verify World ID proofs through robotic.sh to confirm that the interacting parties are real and unique humans, without the need to collect names, facial information, or other personal data. This system utilizes zero-knowledge proofs, where machines receive encrypted proofs from users that they are real persons. PeaqOS serves as a coordination layer, connecting World ID through decentralized identity identifiers and a machine market, while also recording auditable interaction records. This solution can be applied in scenarios such as autonomous delivery, shared machines, and drug distribution. Users can verify this at World App and during the delivery process. Robots confirm that the recipient is the same person associated with the order. PeaqOS is extending zero-knowledge verification to more depin projects.
