According to CoinMeta, the China Payment and Clearing Association has issued the "Self-Regulatory Convention for Agent Payment Applications" to standardize the behavior of member institutions in using artificial intelligence agents to initiate and execute payment instructions in payment scenarios. The convention requires banks, non-bank payment institutions, and clearing institutions to implement network security, data security, and privacy protection measures. It also establishes mechanisms for understanding the agents (KYA), hierarchical management of agents, and full-link identity transmission, strengthens model robustness and traceability, as well as anti-money laundering and anti-fraud controls. Additionally, strict authorization and risk control measures are set in place for the elderly and minors. The convention will come into effect from the date of its publication.
