Trump's portfolio adds two new stocks; Gates and Ackman also hold them

According to CoinMeta, President Trump’s portfolio has added two new stocks: MasterCard (NYSE : MA) and Home Depot (NYSE : HD). The latest asset declaration shows that Trump’s assets include these two purchases. The second-quarter declaration also indicates that Home Depot is one of the holdings of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation trust, while billionaire investor Bill Ackman’s Pershing Square established a position in MasterCard this quarter. This disclosure covers Trump’s transactions in June 2026 and has recently been submitted to the U.S. Government Ethics Office. The disclosure shows that there were over 1,000 transactions that month. Home Depot is in the spotlight in the market because bulls believe the stock will rebound during a potential housing market recovery. Home Depot has declined by about 17% in the past year due to high mortgage loan rates, which have slowed down housing activity. Nevertheless, bulls believe that the housing market will recover sooner or later, interest rates will fall, the lock-up effect will be broken, and lost transactions will return. Home Depot is expected to be a major beneficiary of this trend.
