AI Infrastructure stocks soar: How long can CoreWeave and Super Micro last?

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Yahoo Finance, the stocks of CoreWeave (Nasdaq: CRWV) and Super Micro Computer (Nasdaq: SMCI) reached their highest levels since June on August 12, 2026, with increases of over 19% and 13% respectively. Both companies released optimistic financial forecast projections against the backdrop of a surge in demand for computing power in AI. The forecasts for CoreWeave's annual revenue, adjusted operating profit, and capital expenditures were all raised; revenue backlog for the second quarter increased from $9.94 billion to $10.42 billion, with new commitments exceeding $25 billion. Analysts pointed out that despite rising unit costs, project returns are strengthening. Super Micro predicts that its revenue for the 2027 fiscal year will exceed Wall Street's expectations, with a gross margin of 17.5% in the fourth quarter.
