Stock Market Today: S&P 500 and Dow Jones under pressure due to declines in chip stocks

According to CoinMeta, today's U.S. stock market opened lower, with the S&P 500 index falling 0.14% to 7,663.38, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropping 15.1 points by 0.03%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index declining 0.44% to 26,065.32. Tech and semiconductor stocks led the decline as investors awaited NVIDIA's financial report and new U.S. sanctions against Iran. Chip stocks were generally under pressure, with Micron falling 5.47%, AMD dropping 2.81%, and Intel losing 3.64%. The market expects NVIDIA's quarterly revenue to nearly double, reaching around $92 billion. Meanwhile, long-term Treasury yields remained high, with the 30-year yield approaching its highest point in 19 years at about 5.25%.
