The Dow Jones Industrial Average initially rose by 0.26%, the S&P 500 Index fell by 0.28%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index declined by 0.76%. Stocks in the storage sector performed poorly: SK Hynix fell by 4.9%, Micron Technology dropped by 5.8%, Sandisk lost 6.4%, while NVIDIA and Intel both fell by about 3%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index closed down 1.67%, NetEase fell by 4%, and Alibaba declined by 0.7%.
