UAE President's Advisor: Iran's attacks on Gulf countries are a "serious miscalculation"
2026-08-25 19:25:36
According to CoinMeta, Anwar Gargash, advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, stated that Iran's attacks on Gulf countries have weakened its own position and suggested that Tehran should cooperate with neighboring countries to end the conflict. Gargash said, "As the US-Iran confrontation enters a new phase, characterized by escalating economic pressure, the failure of attempts to control the Strait of Hormuz, and the end of the memorandum of understanding period, we reiterate that Iran's aggression against the Arab Gulf countries has not achieved its intended goals; it has only deepened Tehran's difficulties and proven to be a seriously misguided strategic choice that has exacerbated Iran's isolation and weakened its own position." "The way to end this war does not lie in attacking the Arab Gulf countries, but in cooperating with them to pave the way for easing tensions and seeking political solutions to end the conflict."
