Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission seeks public opinion on local spot cryptocurrency ETF

According to CoinMeta, Wu said that he learned that the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is seeking public opinions on the draft regulations for the establishment and regulation of local spot cryptocurrencies (ETF). Initially, only investments in Bitcoin and Ethereum are permitted, with the opinion collection period ending on September 20th. According to the draft, the relevant (ETF) must adopt a passive management approach, track the prices of the invested crypto assets, and the annual average net exposure to a single crypto asset shall not be less than 80% of the fund's net assets (NAV). These funds can only be traded on stock exchanges.
