According to CoinMeta, the price of Ethereum approached $2,478 on August 25, with a rise of about 30% over the past seven days. However, due to overbought signals on the daily chart and concentrated liquidity in the $2,500-2,550 range, it is uncertain whether this upward trend will continue to $3,000 or lead to a deeper correction. Starting from an opening price of $1,916 on August 19, Ethereum still managed to rise by about 29%. This surge enabled Ethereum to break through the $2,000, $2,200, and $2,400 levels in less than a week, reversing the previous period of weak prices. According to CoinMeta data, short sellers in the entire crypto market lost nearly $2.7 billion in 24 hours, with total liquidations approaching $3 billion, of which Ethereum accounted for about $1.1 billion. In the short term, Ethereum's price has been consolidating between $2,420 and $2,530. Meanwhile, Ethereum spot contracts listed in the United States recorded a net inflow of $697.2 million over the five trading days ending August 21, marking the best weekly performance since 2026.
