According to CoinMeta, a survey conducted this month by OKX shows that 90% of American college students and 87% of parents support the introduction of cryptocurrency and blockchain courses in universities. Among them, 27% of students and 32% of parents believe that such courses should be mandatory. The survey, which covered 533 American universities with accredited business schools for the year 2025, found that approximately 28% of these institutions offer blockchain courses. Among the surveyed students, 33% consider social media or internet celebrities to be their most important source of information about cryptocurrencies, which is nearly five times the number of those who chose schools, teachers, or professors as their main source of information; parents, on the other hand, primarily rely on cryptocurrency platforms and applications for information, accounting for 21%. OKX A survey was conducted among 500 students and 500 parents through the online survey platform Pollfish; the respondents were not recruited from the OKX customer base. OKX The survey's weighting method, margin of error, and the proportion of respondents holding cryptocurrencies were not disclosed.
