According to CoinMeta, a new nationwide survey indicates that 53% of Americans oppose employers providing cryptocurrency options in workplace retirement plans, and 77% believe such investments carry risks. A survey by the National Institute on Retirement Security found that 46% of respondents consider workplace cryptocurrency investments to be “very risky,” which also led to 77% expressing concern. The survey also revealed that 80% of Americans believe the country is facing a retirement crisis, and 61% are worried about their financial security upon retirement. It was found that 68% of people find it more difficult to prepare for retirement, and 77% say debt is hindering their ability to save.
