According to CoinMeta, Havenex is an Austrian company founded by co-founders SUI and Kostas, with consulting provided by Kryptos and Chalkias. On August 26th, the company announced that its Series A financing was nearing completion and that it was seeking regulatory authorization. Chalkias announced the project through social media, describing Havenex as providing infrastructure for digital and traditional financial assets for financial institutions. The website of Havenex indicates that the platform is undergoing authorization from the Austrian Financial Market Authority, but the scale of financing, investors involved, valuation, or expected closing date have not been disclosed. Chalkias stated that Havenex has applied for all required licenses and plans to provide white-label infrastructure to support services such as trading, custody, staking, tokenization, settlement, and wallet infrastructure. The project promises to support verifiable custody, continuous solvency proof, multi-signature control, and hardware-based two-factor authentication. Havenex has not yet released any independent security audits or technical documentation, and future verifiable milestones will include FMA authorization and the final disclosure of Series A financing details.
