According to CoinMeta, monitoring data from cryptorank shows that stock-related assets now account for 67% of the total trading volume on hip-3 (a perpetual contract market independently deployed by developers) under the decentralized derivatives trading platform hyperliquid. As of August 2026, the total trading volume of the hip-3 market has reached $73 billion, of which stock-related perpetual contracts contributed $49 billion alone. During 2026, stock assets have surpassed commodities to become the largest asset category in terms of trading volume on the hip-3 market.
