According to CoinMeta, and as reported by the Iranian news agency Tasnim, after months of attacks from the United States, Ali Nikzad, the deputy speaker of the Iranian Parliament, inspected the oil infrastructure on Kharg Island. Located off the southern coast of Iran, Kharg Island used to handle 90% of Iran's total oil exports at its peak, processing about 1.5 million barrels of oil per day and approximately 950 million barrels annually.
