According to CoinMeta, Alpha Modus Holdings Inc (Nasdaq: $AMOD) shares tumbled approximately 29% on Thursday due to its plan to include 3,170 bitcoins (valuing over $200 million) in its balance sheet. The stock is now trading at $2.72, with a market value of about $18.9 million. The valuation of the bitcoins in this transaction is $71,000 per coin. Under an agreement signed with non-U.S. investors, the company will issue approximately 51.6 million Class A shares and corresponding warrants in exchange for these 3,170 bitcoins. This transaction is expected to significantly increase shareholders' equity and help address Nasdaq listing compliance issues.
