According to CoinMeta, Blackstone Group announced that it would reduce the minimum exchange threshold for Bitcoin to IBIT from $25 million to just $1 million, a decrease of 96%. This move enables more holders to conduct physical exchanges and allows eligible investors to directly exchange BTC for shares of ETF without having to sell their Bitcoin first. IBIT has already processed over $5 billion in direct Bitcoin exchanges. Due to security vulnerabilities and storage risks, an increasing number of holders are opting to switch from hardware wallets to regulated ETF.
