According to CoinMeta, as reported by Decrypt, Sparrow Wallet released version 2.5.4 on August 28th. Developer Craig Raw stated that this update was driven by code reviews assisted by AI. The main improvements include verifying the legitimacy of server transactions for Electrum, strengthening security requirements for Bitbox02 hardware wallets, fixing local DNS leaks, and hiding sensitive credentials in debug logs. Craig Raw also mentioned that no signs of exploitation were found, and user funds are not at risk, recommending that all users update their versions.
