According to CoinMeta, the CEO of ellipsis labs criticized the Solana SGP -0003 fee reform proposal, stating that it could have a significant impact on applications that rely on the market microstructure on Solana. He argued that changing the on-chain cost model without sufficient participation from application developers would undermine their confidence in deploying businesses on Solana. The co-founder of Anatoly Yakovenko subsequently suggested that signature fees could be based on computing units (CU) while maintaining roughly the same average fees. Chen expressed support in principle but believed that further evaluation of the relevant mechanisms was still needed.
