According to CoinMeta, the Abu Dhabi royal family supports a crypto banking project related to Trump and holds 49% of the shares in the bank's holding company. The project is backed by the group of Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the UAE's national security advisor and chairman of the artificial intelligence company G42. If the bank receives final approval, it will be responsible for issuing, redeeming, and custodying the world's USD1 stablecoin.
