According to CoinMeta, and as reported by foreign media, Qatar Energy Company sold at least 7 million barrels of Qatar crude oil of different grades this week through bidding, with shipment scheduled for October. These goods, priced at the offshore price of FOB, are about $6 to $7 per barrel more expensive than the Dubai crude oil quote and will be transshipped via ship-to-ship outside the Strait of Hormuz. Indian refiner Reliance Industries purchased 1 million barrels each of Qatar onshore crude oil, Qatar offshore crude oil, and Shaikh Hamad crude oil. Priced at the offshore rate, these are $15 per barrel cheaper than the Dubai crude oil quote and will be loaded within the Strait of Hormuz.
