According to CoinMeta, just two weeks after releasing version 3.7 of Gemini, Google has already begun internal testing of the new model Gemini 3.8. Based on internal screenshots obtained from Business Insider, the new model is named Gemini 3.8 and has been made available to some employees, appearing on Google's internal programming platform Jetski. One employee who tried it out stated that version 3.8 is “clearly better” than version 3.7, but it’s still too early to make a comprehensive evaluation. Version 3.7 of Flash was officially released on August 13, just 14 days after the news of the internal testing of version 3.8 surfaced. Google previously stated its aim to increase the frequency of model updates to nearly once a month.
