Total trading volume of South Korea's top five exchanges reaches a new high in nearly 10 months

According to CoinMeta, as reported by digital and asset, the total trading volume of South Korea's five major virtual asset exchanges (upbit, bithumb, coinone, digitalx, gopax) during the week from August 21 to 28 reached approximately 31.1 trillion Korean won (about 23 billion US dollars), a sharp increase of 188.04% compared to the previous week's 10.8 trillion Korean won. In terms of market share, upbit maintained its first place with 59.61%, while bithumb (renamed from korbit) rose significantly to 4.21% from 33.11%, surpassing coinone (3.05%) to claim third place, marking the highest market share for that platform in nearly 20 weeks.
