Cardano: The Genesis Pre-accelerator Project Launched, with 13 Teams Participating
2026-08-29 18:02:44
According to CoinMeta, the pre-accelerator program for Cardano has been launched, with a total of 13 teams participating. The program involves a four-week residency in Silicon Valley. Its aim is to bring together early-stage Cardano developers with universities, Draper Dragon, and a broader range of Orion funding programs. The current teams are working on areas such as payments, compliance, institutional DeFi, enterprise infrastructure, and other Web3 applications. The project began on August 17th, and at its conclusion, there will be a dedicated investor presentation event. The participating teams come from six countries and cover various fields, including applications related to institutional DeFi and AI. Although the on-chain activity of Cardano briefly accelerated during the market rebound in August, recent data shows that the number of active addresses and DEX transaction volumes saw a significant rise followed by a rapid decline, indicating that the sustainability of market activity remains uncertain.
