The system does not freeze wallets on the blockchain, but rather marks the bank accounts, payment processors, and fiat currency entry points associated with these wallets. Any Russian bank that processes transactions related to these addresses will receive alerts and can take restrictive measures. In the first half of 2026, actions taken due to illegal financial activities involved more than 500 payment details. The regulatory authorities also sent the marked data to law enforcement departments and the federal anti-monopoly service, resulting in over 330 administrative cases.
