According to CoinMeta, a senior official from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard questioned the so-called war targets of the United States, stating that the war has nothing to do with Iran's nuclear issue. Sadr Jowani, the deputy political director of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, told Iranian media Fars News: "Those who think that war stems from uranium enrichment do not understand history correctly. Those who believe that if we stop uranium enrichment, war will not occur either lack accurate historical knowledge or the proper analytical skills." Jowani attributed the war to the United States' desire to overthrow the Islamic Republic of Iran.
