According to CoinMeta, Guo Luzheng, the CEO of SK Hynix, recently stated that the company is open to further investing in the US semiconductor industry, while predicting that the global shortage of memory chips will continue until the end of 2030. He pointed out that SK Hynix is looking for potential locations around the world that can meet its research and development and testing needs, with power supply, water resources, and government incentives being key considerations. Guo Luzheng said, "As long as there are places that can provide sufficient infrastructure and resources, we are open to it." He also expressed his hope that the company will be able to bring "more good news" to the US artificial intelligence industry in the future.
