According to CoinMeta, the price of Bitcoin approached $78,024 on August 30, 2026, after falling from a three-month high of $81,200. This rebound followed a recovery from around $63,000 in August, and on-chain data indicates that capital activity has resumed. Bitcoin's realized market value expanded by over $4.6 billion within seven days. CryptoQuant contributor Darkfost stated that this represents the strongest short-term fluctuation since the beginning of the bear market. Nevertheless, the 30-day average growth rate was only 0.4%. These figures indicate an improvement in liquidity, although a single-week increase does not confirm a lasting shift. Traders are watching to see if buyers can hold the $78,000 level and challenge the supply zone. Realized market value is calculated based on the on-chain price of each coin's last transaction, while the standard market market value applies the latest quote to the total circulating supply. When older coins move at higher prices, the realized value usually rises, which could indicate that buyers are willing to accept a higher cost base. Darkfost noted that the weekly reversal occurred after a period of weak or declining growth, thus supporting the view that inflows of liquidity have helped Bitcoin's price to recover.
