According to CoinMeta, Hamid Boavad, the CEO of Iran's National Petroleum Corporation, stated on Monday that oil operations on Iran's Kharg Island have not ceased, denying U.S. President Donald Trump's claims that the island's key oil hub had been destroyed. He described the current situation on Kharg Island as calm and normal, and mentioned that 90% of Iran's oil exports come from this island. Oil workers have not stopped their operations, and contractors are currently rebuilding and upgrading oil storage tanks and docks.
