According to CoinMeta, Aon announced the acquisition of USI's insurance services for $17 billion, which deepens its presence in the US insurance market. Although Aon is expected to earn approximately $395 million in annual adjusted EBITDA profits, its stock price fell by about 7% after the announcement of the deal. In contrast, KKR achieved a return on investment of about 6 times in this transaction, with its stock price rising by about 2%. USI generates approximately $3 billion in revenue annually, has over 10,500 employees, and operates nearly 200 offices in the United States. The transaction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026 and requires regulatory approval.
