According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Hong Kong 01, Zhao Changpeng, the founder of Binance, shared four financial management principles: not buying stocks, not speculating in real estate, not trading cryptocurrencies, and not keeping too much cash on hand. He believes that real estate transactions are time-consuming and not worth the returns, and prefers to hold crypto assets in the long term, stating that cash continues to depreciate. Zhao Changpeng sold his house in 2013 and invested all his funds in Bitcoin. In 2017, he founded Binance, which became the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange within five months. In 2023, he was sentenced to four months in prison for violating the U.S. Bank Secrecy Act but was pardoned by Trump last year. His current net worth is estimated to be around $114.6 billion. He admits that success is partly due to luck, but the key lies in making the right decisions consistently and quickly correcting mistakes when necessary.
