The Pentagon has integrated Grok, ChatGPT, and Gemini into the same platform, allowing military personnel to use different models as needed. Officials stated that this move is to avoid relying solely on one AI company. Both Grok and ChatGPT are government-exclusive versions and have passed IL5 security certifications, enabling them to handle controlled non-classified information. ChatGPT is mainly used for planning, policy, logistics, and administrative tasks, while the application scenarios listed for Grok include procurement research and supply chain management.
