According to CoinMeta, the legal challenge brought by Chainalysis against the $94.66 million blockchain analysis contract awarded by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to TRM Labs has expanded. In a revised complaint made public on August 28, Chainalysis accused ICE of improperly avoiding open competition and evaluating potential suppliers based on requirements that were not fully disclosed. Chainalysis believes that ICE's decision is unfair and has requested the court to declare the contract illegal, as well as to compel ICE to conduct a full open competition. The oral arguments for this case are scheduled to take place on September 2 in Washington, D.C.
