Morgan Stanley Upgrades Robinhood to Overweight, Target Price Raised to $150

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by an early issuer of in, Morgan Stanley raised its rating of Robinhood from “Hold” to “Overweight” on September 1st, and increased the target price from $124 to $150. Morgan Stanley noted that Robinhood has a user base of approximately 28 million, which forms the foundation for growth, and predicts that new businesses such as the prediction market will increase the average asset value per user, transaction activity, and monetization capabilities. Among these, the prediction market has fewer than 2 million users, but contributed $156 million in revenue during the second quarter. Analysts believe that Robinhood’s derivatives trading platform and clearing institution Rothera expand their distribution advantages and bring opportunities for infrastructure and third-party revenue.
