According to CoinMeta, citing data from the Salvadoran National Commission of Digital Assets (cnad), since 2026, El Salvador has seen the addition of 233 new token registration projects. Of these, 182 occurred in July and August, accounting for 78.1% of the total new projects for the year. Among these projects, 198 are related to stocks, ETF, or index-based assets, covering U.S. stocks such as Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Amazon, Meta, as well as products related to the S&P 500, NASDAQ 100, gold, and U.S. Treasury bonds. Additionally, there are 35 projects involving local corporate debt, bills, real estate financing, and SAFE and other instruments.
