Redstone Co-founder: Tectonic $75 million vulnerability not due to a预言机 error
2026-09-02 02:43:08
According to CoinMeta, co-founder Marcin Kazmierczak stated that the $75 million vulnerability in Tectonic was due to weak collateral control, rather than an inaccurate oracle. Kazmierczak pointed out that the oracle reported the price of Tonic accurately, but Tectonic accepted that reading without checking whether the price could be sold on a meaningful scale. Independent researcher Weilin Li estimates that about $75 million was affected, although Tectonic and Cronos have not yet confirmed the final losses. Kazmierczak believes that the design of Tectonic confused the two tasks of reporting prices and verifying whether those prices are safe.
