According to CoinMeta, Wu said that the CTO of the Ethereum network announced that he officially stepped down from his position yesterday. Moving forward, he will co-found a company outside of the cryptocurrency sector with the co-founders, focusing on applying blockchain technology to real-world scenarios. He mentioned that over the past year, they introduced a pre-confirmation mechanism and restructured the protocol for efficiency, during which time they faced industry cycle pressures, team layoffs, and challenges related to hacker security incidents. After stepping down, he will continue to serve as a consultant and member of the independent security committee, assisting in ensuring network security and supporting the team's future development.
