According to CoinMeta, Asian stock markets declined due to the intensification of the conflict in Iran, with widespread concerns about rising oil prices and bond yields. The stock markets in Japan and South Korea saw significant drops; the Nikkei index fell by about 3% to 64,250 points, and the KOSPI index fell by about 2.4% to 4,080 points. Analysts pointed out that the rise in bond yields reflects concerns about fiscal risks, rather than a sign of healthy economic growth. The yield on Japan's 10-year government bonds soared to around 3%, the highest level since 1996. Meanwhile, South Korea's stock market also fell by more than 3% due to the dual pressures of rising bond yields and oil prices. Foreign investors sold a net amount of about 890 billion Korean won (approximately $650 million) in South Korea, indicating that overseas capital is withdrawing from regional stock markets.
