Bitcoin News: The ETF Era Faces a Test from China
2026-09-02 23:43:30
According to CoinMeta and as reported by 99bitcoins, today's Bitcoin news indicates that the ETF era is facing challenges from China. Based on data cited by Coindesk from Macromicro, China's credit impulse has dropped to 20.84, the lowest level since 2008. Nevertheless, Bitcoin has risen by about 25% in August, with the recent trading price approaching $77,200, although it fell by about 1.3% within a single day. Analysts point out that the current weakening of the credit impulse may signal a slowdown in the global economy, which could in turn affect corporate profits and the U.S. stock market. Nonetheless, Bitcoin's strong performance is related to inflows of funds into U.S.-listed spot ETF products, indicating support from institutional and ETF demand.
