According to CoinMeta, Peng Jinlong, the chairman of Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission, stated that the "Virtual Assets Services Act" was legislated on June 30 of this year. The Financial Supervisory Commission is currently formulating nine supporting sub-laws, which include regulations related to stablecoins, and these are expected to be officially announced and implemented as soon as the first quarter of 2027. He mentioned that global discussions regarding virtual assets and stablecoins have shifted from "whether to develop them" to "how to develop and regulate them properly."
