2026-09-04 02:01:39
According to CoinMeta, Polymarket has announced the launch of perpetual contracts covering 10 crypto, stock, index, and commodity markets, allowing eligible international users to trade with up to 20x leverage. The platform states that the new service provides traders with an interface that connects perpetual contracts for cryptocurrencies, stocks, market indices, and commodities. The initial markets include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and HyperLiquid's HYPE tokens, allowing users to trade based on price fluctuations in gold, silver, WTI crude oil, the S&P 500, and the NASDAQ 100. Polymarket also notes that perpetual contracts are different from standard futures in that they do not have a predetermined expiration date, allowing users to hold positions as long as they meet the margin requirements.
