According to CoinMeta, two Thai businessmen Nutthawat Rukthammachalern and Natthawat Kasamvilas have filed a lawsuit against Tether in the Southern District Federal Court of New York, accusing him of freezing 42.41 million USDT three months before the issuance of the seizure order. Tether has stated that he has cooperated with law enforcement authorities to freeze over $4.4 billion in assets, of which more than $2.1 billion is related to U.S. authorities.
