According to CoinMeta, the price of Bitcoin briefly broke through $82,000 on September 4 before falling back, with traders taking profits after the price increase. The current price of Bitcoin is around $81,150, failing to maintain above the psychological barrier of $82,000. This pullback has brought the price of Bitcoin about 1% below its previous high, but it is still higher than the $80,000 level that was regained on the previous trading day. According to CoinMeta data, the entire crypto market recorded over $500 million in liquidations during this rebound, with short positions accounting for the majority. Analysts Quinten Fran and ois noted that Bitcoin's 50-week moving average is close to $81,041, almost on par with the current market price. If Bitcoin breaks through $82,800, it will form a new high and may reconsider the $90,000 target again.
