According to CoinMeta, as reported by AP, the University of Florida has announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Ripple. The XRP logo will begin to appear at their football stadium Florida Field starting from this Saturday's match against Florida Atlantic. Sources familiar with the deal say that the collaboration is expected to generate approximately $5 million in revenue for the University of Florida each year, although neither party has disclosed the specific financial terms. In addition to the stadium branding, Ripple will also receive rights for digital media and on-site event promotions, as well as support for traditional financial and digital asset education programs targeting student athletes and the campus community.
