According to CoinMeta, Binance founder CZ met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, Zhaslan Madiyev, in Kazakhstan, and noted that the local cryptocurrency industry is developing rapidly. Zhaslan Madiyev served as the General Manager of Binance Kazakhstan from 2022 to 2024, and was appointed as the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry in May 2024. Subsequently, in 2025 and 2026, he was promoted to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development.
