Robinhood Chain experiences a 14-minute network interruption, affecting transaction confirmation
2026-09-05 00:37:58
According to CoinMeta, the Robinhood chain stopped producing blocks around 12:57 on September 4th, UTC, resulting in the Ethereum layer-2 network being unable to confirm token transfers and smart contract transactions for over 14 minutes. Although new transactions continued to appear in the block explorer, multiple transactions remained in a pending state due to the network's inability to produce blocks. Although block production was later resumed, the activity records during the initial recovery phase were uneven. Robinhood has not yet disclosed the cause of the interruption or provided a specific recovery timeline. This interruption affected blockchain activities but did not impact the traditional brokerage system of Robinhood.
