Kraken supports USDT0 for deposit and withdrawal on the Stellar network
2026-09-05 00:38:27
According to CoinMeta, Kraken has announced that it now supports USDT0 for deposit and withdrawal on the Stellar network. Users can complete the transfer in about five seconds, and the network transaction fee is only a fraction of a cent. USDT0 is a version of Tether that complies with the cross-chain interoperable token standard of LayerZero; it adopts a locking and minting model: a certain amount of USDT is locked on Ethereum, and an equivalent amount of USDT0 is minted on the target network, ensuring that each USDT0 is supported by USDT in a 1:1 ratio. USDT0 can be exchanged for USDT at a 1:1 ratio, and the supply on each connected network always matches the amount of USDT locked on Ethereum.
