According to CoinMeta, OpenAI has fully opened GPT-6 and Astra to users on Plus, Pro, and Business. Previously, Astra was in a phased rollout stage, and many Pro users were unable to use it. Now, both Plus and Pro users can use it on ChatGPT Work and Codex. The core product leader, Thibault Sottiaux, stated that the team's system expansion capability exceeded expectations, allowing for a rapid full-scale launch. Eligible existing Plus, Pro, and Business users will receive one banked and reset on September 3rd and 4th respectively, which is equivalent to a manually usable Codex full reset coupon, refreshing their 5-hour and weekly quotas. Users who create new accounts or upgrade their packages before 11:00 AM on September 5th Beijing time will also be able to receive this reset. Although Plus users can use Astra, the quota is relatively limited. OpenAI estimates that Plus can process approximately 5–45 local messages every 5 hours, with the actual consumption depending on the task length, reasoning intensity, and tool calls.
