According to CoinMeta, Wu said that he learned that Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin tweeted that he did not agree with Liron Shapira's view that Bitcoin ( BTC ) could see a decline of more than 50% within the next two years due to the impact of artificial intelligence on security. Vitalik stated that he is long-term optimistic about network security and believes that Bitcoin mainly needs to address technical transition issues. He believes that the probability of network-level attacks actually breaking through the hash algorithm or proof-of-work mechanism can be "extremely low" by upgrading clients and mining pools, among other methods.
