According to CoinMeta, Prime Intellect has released the Rust version of the open-source AI programming tool Prime Agent. This project took two weeks to schedule over 2,200 Agent, rewriting the code from TypeScript to Rust, utilizing more than 10,000 isolation sandboxes and consuming 200 billion token. The main Agent was responsible for breaking down the tasks, while other Agent were in charge of planning, writing code, reviewing, and verifying. Compared to the old version, changes that did not pass the review were sent back for modification. Tests showed that the cold startup time of the new version decreased from 738 milliseconds to 56 milliseconds, and the startup memory reduced from 607 MB to 106 MB, a reduction of about 83%. The new version also added support for the Windows test version, and the code has been made open-source on GitHub. In the coming weeks, the team will continue to have AI fix errors and optimize performance, with human engineers responsible for identifying issues and reviewing the results.
