CryptoQuant: Bitcoin miners' transaction fee income accounts for less than 1%
2026-10-12 15:51:54
CoinMeta data: According to analyst Axel Adler Jr from CryptoQuant, in the past 30 days, Bitcoin transaction fees accounted for 0.64% of miners' total income. Since mid-August 2025, this figure has remained below 1%. Currently, miners' income mainly comes from newly issued Bitcoins, and their operating conditions depend on the price of Bitcoin and the efficiency of mining machines. Although the price of Bitcoin has rebounded from around $59,000 to $84,000, older mining machines still face profitability pressures under current electricity prices. The aforementioned costs only include electricity bills and do not take into account expenses for purchasing mining machines, cooling facilities, and maintenance.
